This is Artists For Harmony’s second trip in as many years to the Ronald McDonald House in Chicago as part of the Meals From The Heart program, but our first to the new state of the art facility.

Our April Fools-themed menu, prepared by volunteer coordinator Jason Thorn, included meatloaf and mash potato “cupcakes” as well as angel food cake and frosting disguised as grilled cheese sandwiches for dessert. After dinner, the families enjoyed a few more tricks performed by Jeremy Pitt-Payne: “The Magician from Britain”.  It was a terrific evening, and a huge thank you to all the volunteers who made it possible!
